When I bought my Arcam A65 Plus back in 2005, I was thrilled to bits and still take joy from a relatively old (in hi-fi terms) amp. Sure it doesn't have the bottom end grip of a Roksan Kandy, but a sublime midrange and a sweet, detailed treble is a joy to behold. IMHO, for it's price, Arcam struggled to better it - the A65+ is still IMHO one of the best entry-level integrateds around.

The CD62T was the most valuable player in the system with the Arcam A65 Plus and the Acoustic Energy AEGIS EVOs. I didn't hesitate to substitute the Rotel RA-1060 for the A65 Plus or the B&W DM303s for the AEGIS EVOs. I could listen to the CD62T for hours at a time in either system.

S/Hand Arcam Diva power amps (P75/P80/P85/P90 etc.) are relatively cheap, have no software driving them, are reliable and maintain the Arcam sound you like.
I owned an Arcam DIVA A65+ for a wee while and although admittedly it wasn’t amazing, at least not by my current standards, it had a lovely refined sound with pretty good levels of detail. If nothing else, it served its purpose for the duration of our time together by just getting on with playing all kinds of music. Arcam's new DiVA amplifier range represents a major and radical revision of Arcam's amplifier design philosophy.
